Today was another busy day. We left Nanaimo in time to catch slack water as we went through the very narrow Dodd Narrows, on our way to Gabriola Island to visit David's sister Kristen and her partner Iain. It was cool and windy but not, thank goodness, raining. We arrived at Silva Bay, tied up, ate breakfast and waited for Iain and Kristen. On our way to their home we stopped to see the boat David built, which they now own, and then to take a long walk on the beach. Here Iain, who is a writer, is walking on the beach looking contemplative.
