While on my way to Tacoma to view the Michael Kenna retrospective I stopped at the Weyerhaeuser Bonsai Garden. It was a fortuitous thought, to stop there, as bonsai and Michael Kenna's photographs share qualities of simplicity and serenity. The trees are profoundly beautiful, but photograph very badly given their very plain settings. That being said, today's photo is of a tiny forest.
