Today, after a few hours drive from Santa Cruz and a wonderful visit with friends and their new baby, we were back with Peter for the evening. Dinner was Asian street food at Hawker Fare and then to the Alley Bar, a karaoke piano bar with an aging pianist, who knows, apparently, thousands of songs, and a gentle, friendly atmosphere unlike any I've experienced. We had a great time and made delightful acquaintances.
