Today, as so often happens, when on my way to one thing I came across another. In this case, it was police blocking the route I wished to take. Upon further exploration it turned out there had been a fire on the Union Lake waterfront, in a building behind other buildings, not accessible from the street. I chatted with an employee who said he didn't know how it started, but he had seen smoke and called 911. He also said he didn't really know what all had burned, but they had some pretty interesting chemicals back in there.
