We've found that taking the kids somewhere on babysitting days is a good idea, fun for all. Today getting out meant going all the way to Carpinito's for the one dollar a pound rhubarb. Evynne and Alec were happy to help pick things out and generally be active. I did find that if they are both standing on the front of the shopping cart letting go of the handle is a bad idea.
